Amy lives in Alma, WI with her husband and youngest daughter Addie. She also has two grown children McKenzie and Ethan.

Amy started this rescue after being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma. She wanted to give back and make a difference in the world.

After a few years of fostering for some other rescue groups, Amy decided to start her own rescue which takes in animals of all shapes and sizes, in any health – including some major medical issues. Since the start, she has taken in horses, piglets, cats, kittens dogs and puppies.
